Product Description

The core working principle of the purification column is based on physical and chemical ion exchange and adsorption processes, which are used for deep desalination and resistivity enhancement. The column is packed with nuclear-grade polishing resins, comprising both cation and anion exchange resins.

As water flows through, residual cations and anions in water (such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, and sulfate) undergo stoichiometric exchange with hydrogen ions (H⁺) and hydroxide ions (OH⁻) on resins. These ions then combine to form water molecules (H₂O), thereby completely removing salts and elevating resistivity of product water to extremely high levels (e.g., 18.2 MΩ·cm).
